I love to portray life in my photography. I love to capture those tiny details that make the picture whole. Which means the details, however small, need to be tack sharp. My hope is that my photography provides a memory, or an emotion, and gives a smile. I work hard in getting the image correct in camera. I use manual settings on my DSLR camera and it makes a big difference in photography, since I'm in control of what I want you to see and how I want you to see it.
Now, just because I strive to get the shot right in camera, doesn't mean I shy away from Photoshop. I love Photoshop almost as much as I do taking the pictures. I use Photoshop to make the photo POP; bringing out the best in the elements that are already there. Photoshop is a tool used in my photography, similar to the way people use any other tool to enhance their job. Ultimately, this makes the shot the absolute best that it can be.
Well I guess the little section about me was more about how I photograph, but hey if I was checking out someone, I really don't need to know they were born in a rural community, and always loved photography. I don't need to know what their calling was to photography. I want to know what they feel is important in their photography. I live in a very beautiful part of the United States; the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which borders right on Wisconsin with Canada above. You want to talk about BEAUTIFUL scenery! It is a photographers' paradise here, and hopefully that is what you are seeing when you look at my photography.
